How do you define an area?
An area is a room up to 250 square feet. An area is defined as:
bedroom, living room, kitchen, one flight of stairs (generally 12-14
steps), hallway, or a bathroom.
Any area exceeding 250 square feet, but under 500 square feet, will
be considered as 2 areas. Combination rooms or L shaped rooms will be
considered as 2 areas.
Do you move furniture?
Yes. We will move furniture that can be safely moved and put back on
tabs or blocks. All small items should be removed from the room prior to
appointment. If you have questions on a specific piece of furniture,
please check with us when scheduling your appointment.
How long will it take for my carpet to dry?
The dry times are affected by the airflow in the room: humidity and
temperature. Generally it can take between 8-10 hours. The more air
moving throughout the house, the faster the carpet will dry. Use fans to
accelerate drying time is suggested. Using your A/C or heating system
can also accelerate drying time.
You can walk on the carpet when it’s wet, but keep in mind it can resoil faster. A clean pair of house shoes is recommended. Be extremely careful when walking from damp carpet to a hard surface to avoid slipping.
Leave the blocks or tables under the furniture until the carpet is
completely dry to avoid any rusting or bleeding from the furniture legs.
